Description
PCGS authenticated and graded F Details. Attractive glossy light to medium brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints. The only notable marks are two faint hairline scratches hidden in the toning on the cap, a tiny rim bruise left of the lower curls, and a small rim nick just left of the fraction. Not sure the "Graffiti" tag from PCGS is deserved. The date is bold and the legends are complete and clear. The edge letters are complete and quite strong. MDS, Breen state II, with a very subtle wave in the field from the dentils to the chin. T
he surfaces are smooth and this cent has great eye appeal, especially for a Head of 1793 variety.
This example was discovered three years ago and has not been seen by Bland or Noyes.
