1961-4 Fender Precision Bass, string retainer, CBS

Description

This is an original string retainer from a 1961-4 Fender precision bass for sale. It Was part of a complete guitar and had a Sunburst body. It is pre CBS before Leo Fender sold Fender to CBS . The neck plate serial number has the L in the beginning of the serial number, and also is available in my other autions. The rest of the complete 1961-4 Fender precision bass parts will be listed in my other auctions. The retainer is in good condition, but could use a cleaning. Please look at the pictures for description or ask questions as well. I can also send more pictures on request. I purchased this from a lady That was the original owner. She said one day she came home and Her husband had painted the body white Thinking he did her a favor. It has been Disassembled this way since then.
