The SDLT cleaning cartridge is designed for use with SDLT drives. Use this tape as necessary, when the Use Cleaning Tape lamp of the drive is lit, or when a cleaning message appears during the use of backup software. It will provide approximately 20 cleanings.
The SDLT-CL from Sony is a cleaning cartridge designed for use in any SDLT storage drive. SDLT drives are the next generation of DLT data storage solutions, and are based upon optical and magnetic recording technologies. The SDLT-CL helps keep your drive clean of particles and dust, increasing the life of your drive and ensuring that data backups are uncompromised by contaminants.
