Pietersite was discovered by Sid Pieters in 1962 while he was prospecting farm land in Namibia, Africa. After his discovery, he registered the find in the mineral records of Britain. His discovery was published in 1964, and the material was named Pietersite. There has been some confusion on this stone as it is often called the Tempest Stone, Eagle's Eye, and said to truly be a mix of blue and gold tiger's eye quartz which has then been folded in the earth.
Pietersite can help one see beyond the immediate to beauty in the All. It enhances courage, tenacity, and ability to maintain or create what is yours. Pietersite helps in working with angels, experiencing visions, and precognition, relating to feminine or goddess energy, as well as astral and dimensional travel. It helps to relax and release deep emotions in a calmer way.
Physically, Pietersite balances body fluids, improves nutrition, helps with gastrointestinal functions, and helps the endocrine glands, balances female homones, alleviates PMS and menopause symptoms. Pietersite is also excellent for improving memory.
Copper is an excellent conductor of energy, from electricity to the mystical subtle energies emanating from higher planes, etc. Thus, copper is said to enhance and transmit thoughts, even over long distances.
Copper can combat lethargy, passivity, restlessness, excitability and non-acceptance of oneself. It stimulates initiative, optimism, diplomacy and independence. Copper provides a harmonic connection between the physical and astral bodies and aligns the subtle bodies. It is said to be a bestower of good, bringing benefit to its wearer.
Copper Therapy is based on the idea that conditions such as rheumatism and arthritis result from a copper deficiency in the blood. Copper is important, as it is one of the 25 essential minerals utilized in the human body. It is used by cells to process oxygen, to produce energy and also fight cancer-causing free radicals.
Copper also stimulates collagen, which gives connective tissue in our bodies its strength and resistance. It can also help joint stiffness as it conducts heat to the area thus preventing the effects of cold and damp on the joints.
Copper improves circulation, balances warm sun energy and cool lunar energy. Sunshine will energize copper.
